Administrative Liaison (part time, 15-20 hours per week)
Position Summary

The Administrative Liaison, under the direction of the SVP of Clinical, Regulatory & Med Affairs, will help support and execute ORSIF’s Board needs. Additionally s/he will manage all ORSIF special projects as needed.

Clinical Account Manager, New York City
Position Summary

Clinical Account Managers (CAM) provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians and staff on the effective use of Corindus products during procedures within an assigned geography, to help drive the adoption of the CorPath system.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive adoption and usage of the CorPath single-use sterile cassette at installed base hospital sites by providing continuous training, case support and ongoing presence. Provides clinical training and education to customers. Assists in disseminating technical product information to customers. Assists in the development and execution of regional hospital staff training courses.
  • Coach existing CorPath users to further increase their robotic-assisted PCI skills
  • Broaden user base at each site adding and training new physician and staff users of the CorPath system
  • Creates awareness of Corindus solutions and facilitates Regional Sales Manager contact with the key decision makers to drive incremental business
  • Assists in advancing revenue and market position consistent with Company goals. Achieves deep and thorough account penetration and assist in developing new target accounts.

Director of Medical Education
Position Summary

As the Director of Medical Education, you will be responsible for creating, organizing and implementing vascular robotics education program offerings serving a variety of user segments including physicians, technologists and administrators.

You will be developing, implementing and managing a variety of robotics course offerings in a variety of settings and including multiple media platforms. Education offerings are both traditional and contemporary and occur both in advance of and following the sale of the vascular robotic equipment. You will work closely with physician course proctors and selected physician KOL's. You will also work closely and collaboratively with both the sales and marketing organizations and frequently interface with the clinical and research departments of the company. It is anticipated that the field of vascular robotics will be developing rapidly and iteratively, requiring a constant evaluation of education offerings and content. In addition, you will continually be monitoring the effectiveness of the offerings as impacting business goals and the satisfaction of participants in a metrics based methodology.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate all phases of external medical education, including pre and post sales offerings
  • In collaboration with SVP Clinical Regulatory and Medical Affairs, manage, educate and assist to educate identified physician KOL's
  • Assist in the development and management of Corindus Training Sites and Centers of Excellence
  • Lead the creation of education and workflow optimization curriculums and support materials for both clinical customers, and “train the trainers” using adult learning principles
  • Develop multi-modality education offerings leveraging contemporary technologies, platforms and current medical education practices
  • Continually evaluate and improve all facets of the Corindus medical education process and design, develop and implement education programs that build commercial capability and drive vascular robotic adoption
  • Interface with service, sales and marketing leadership to ensure educational offerings are in alignment with strategic imperatives
  • Work with Marketing to integrate strategic focus and messaging to our customer segments
  • Align with product marketing teams to support collateral material and programs for existing portfolio as well as new product launches to meet strategic goals, including new sales channels

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Position Summary

Lead design transfer out of R&D. Develop, implement and improve manufacturing capabilities. Contribute to product design improvements intended to achieve higher reliability, serviceability, and manufacturability. Train technicians and manufacturing personnel on manufacturing equipment operation, procedures and inspections.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work with product development staff to ensure that products under development are optimally manufacturable that may include but not be limited to mechanical assembly/dimensioning/tolerances, electrical wiring, materials selection and fabrication methods
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products, product changes and enhancements, and related tooling and fixtures which are consistent with a zero defect level as well as low product cost
  • Installation of Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ), and DOEs
  • Write manufacturing procedures
  • Investigate benefits and features of capital equipment and generate capital appropriation justifications
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs concepts, tool drawings and shop orders in coordination with the Quality Assurance and R&D functions
  • Provide engineering support to production department in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
  • Coordinate work with outside vendors
  • Plan and schedule projects in a manner consistent with corporate objectives
  • Support prototype and pilot production of new products, product changes, and enhancements in coordination with the R&D, Manufacturing and Quality Control functions

MATERIALS MANAGER
Position Summary

Working under limited supervision this individual will provide an inventory control strategy, vision, and leadership for the all inventory control functions, which includes all material movements, inventory transactions, and associated staff including shipping and receiving. This person will provide metrics for on-time delivery, cycle count accuracy, and inventory levels. This person will maintain and communicate quality standards; write reports and ensures all documentation (DHRs) are accurately completed. In addition this individual will be responsible for level loading manufacturing production schedule via MRP, participate in the S&OP process, interface with supply chain, and customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervises a staff in the responsibilities of central stores, shipping and receiving on all daily operational functions. Demonstrates leadership through constant professional conduct and example.
  • Continuously improve the operations inventory control in concert with cross functional peers
  • Interfaces with Sales, Marketing, and Finance via a S&OP process to formulate a forecast. Responsible for transferring forecast into a production and supply chain procurement plan via MRP.
  • Strives to be subject matter expert within companies MRP system, makes MRP improvements and is responsible for data integrity
  • Expedites material procurement, inspections, material transformation to ensure 100% customer satisfaction in the areas of quality and on time delivery
  • Works closely with engineering, procurement, customer support, product support, sales and marketing, finance and other functional organizations to meet or exceed customer requirements
  • Ensures all orders are processed and shipped according to priority status as assigned by Customer Service

Principal Advanced Development Robotics Engineer
Position Summary

The Principal Advanced Development Robotics Engineer will be a key contributor to our research efforts within our advanced development team in support of new robotic systems and applications. The advanced development team is responsible for discovering, prototyping and developing new technologies which can be integrated into our next generation robotic PCI systems. This is a collaborative opportunity where the individual will work with other engineering disciplines, product management, and clinicians with focus on optimizing design and defining requirements. The successful candidate will be expected to: i) take a lead role in the development of new robotic applications and systems; ii) perform early stage work on enabling technologies; iii) contribute to systems and hardware design of robotic systems. The applicant must have a strong background with model based design, including system modeling, design, simulation and algorithm development, as well as experience in integration in electromechanical systems.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead role in developing new robotic applications, enabling technologies, and systems for next generation products
  • Discover and define user and systems requirements for future applications
  • Develop and iterate design concepts, gain cross-functional input, realize and evaluate concepts through prototyping, integration and testing

Principal Electrical Engineer
Position Summary

The Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for engineering analysis, reliability analysis, design analysis, and technical oversight of the development of electrical and electronic systems and subsystems for Corindus’ new and existing medical device products. The Principal Electrical Engineer must be a strong technical resource having a key role guiding the concept and development of electrical and electronic subsystems. This position requires a strong working knowledge of electrical engineering design principles in both analog and digital domains. The individual must be highly proficient with current EE analysis tools, practices and processes. This position also has some project management responsibilities for interfacing with external resources.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Technical lead and resource for EE activities in all phases of the product development lifecycle including specification, design, implementation, debug, verification, validation and manufacturing transfer
  • Highly skilled technical resource team contributor to the R&D Department
  • Ensures application of EE fundamentals. Applies strong analytical and problem solving methodologies including modeling and simulations
  • Implements best practices in design methodologies, development processes and tools
  • Creates design guidelines and specifications, defines testing protocols, monitors or executes testing, issues qualification test reports and complies with QSR requirements
  • Project Management responsibilities may include vendor and supplier management, directing design and test technician resources, developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
  • Interfaces with Quality Assurance, Operations, Marketing, Vendors, Customers and Physicians
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • BS degree (MS preferred) in Electrical Engineering

Product Manager
Position Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for the creation and implementation of commercial marketing initiatives in support of the Corindus CorPath GRX Vascular Robotic System.  The Product Manager will also play a critical role in working collaboratively with R&D and technical teams to provide design input and voice of customer in the development of Corindus next generation products.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive awareness of CorPath product line by developing and implementing multi-phase marketing strategy
  • Refine product messaging based on voice of customer and primary research with key customer stakeholders
  • Build strategy and execution of marketing communications initiatives including web presence, tradeshow participation, advertising, public relations, and digital marketing tactics
  • Support market development projects within targeted regions to promote adoption of robotics and grow market share for customers
  • Knowledge of customer/market requirements, clinical trends and competitor activities through market research, attendance at selected conferences and close contact with recognized key opinion leaders
  • Act as the Voice of the Customer, understanding clinical needs & values and benefits sought within each customer segment. Understanding the customer economic environment and needs.
  • Partner on development of product roadmap, taking into account company financial objectives, clinical trends, technology enhancements, customer desires and hospital economics
  • Support the field sales team as a primary customer, identifying unmet needs and supporting their development through training and onsite support

Position Summary

Achieve field sales objectives through servicing current customers and identifying and securing new customers. The Regional Sales Manager role is a very complex, process oriented, high level sales position that requires passion and enthusiasm. This position will manage the Midwest territory.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for achieving and growing total revenue including capital, disposable, and extended service sales in assigned US territory. Senior Sales Planning Analyst
Position Summary

The Senior Sales Planning Analyst will sit within a newly created Commercial Program Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for the creation and implementation of multiple programs and work streams that enable commercial execution of the Corindus CorPath GRX Vascular Robotic System. This individual is responsible for ensuring the on time completion of various commercial activities, initiatives and programs established by senior leadership. This individual will execute all program activities of the PMO by developing and implementing PMO processes, policies and tools to ensure each program meets the company’s goals and requirements. Additionally, this individual will partner with other department leaders to define, prioritize and complete other commercial project and program work streams.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Partner with sales, supply chain, manufacturing, R&D, marketing, service, finance, and the customer to aggressively plan for and launch vascular robotic programs at domestic and international hospitals
  • Defines and manages all requirements for each program launch
  • Oversee workflow across all commercial programs and customers — anticipating gaps and identifying synergies and dependencies between programs and customers
  • Provide guidance on prioritization of tasks across programs to avoid or minimize the impact of limited resource conflicts
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues that could impact program launch schedules; Ensure solutions are successfully implemented by removing organizational roadblocks
  • Create clear and concise summaries and/or presentations for sales leadership or customers relating to launch planning updates
  • Proactively participates on semi-monthly Sales & Operations Planning meetings with senior leadership
  • Own and execute specific projects in addition to developing and managing the project’s plan

Senior Upstream Product Manager
Position Summary

Corindus Vascular Robotics is seeking a Senior Upstream Product Manager to play an instrumental role in developing the company's future product line and product road map.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Represent the voice of the customer in the Corindus new product development process by understanding clinical needs, values and benefits sought within each customer segment
  • Work with current and future Corindus customers as well as CMO and Steering Committee to define customer needs and then translate those needs into requirements which identify key features for new products
  • Analyze and present potential partner relationships & opportunities for the product
  • Execute on the Company strategy by aligning product roadmap with technology roadmap
  • Interface with R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales and Clinical teams to prioritize and develop product line extensions and product improvements
  • Prioritize business opportunities in conjunction with functional leadership
  • Execute and lead product roadmap taking into account company financial objectives, clinical trends, technology enhancements, customer desires and hospital economics
  • Establish pricing strategy and plan for the CorPath product line and its accessories
  • Develop expert knowledge of customer/market requirements, clinical trends and competitor activities through market research, attendance at selected conferences and close contact with recognized key opinion leaders
  • Coordinate participation at workshops, meetings with physicians and hospitals, sales meetings and participate as required
  • Relationship management: Along with senior management team, establish and manage positive relationships with key clinical investigators, medical institutions, leaders of medical conventions, professional societies, etc.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 6-10 years of experience as a Product Manager working with medical devices (interventional experience is a plus)
