Clinical Account Manager, New York City
Position Summary

Clinical Account Managers (CAM) provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians and staff on the effective use of Corindus products during procedures within an assigned geography, to help drive the adoption of the CorPath system.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive adoption and usage of the CorPath single-use sterile cassette at installed base hospital sites by providing continuous training, case support and ongoing presence. Provides clinical training and education to customers. Assists in disseminating technical product information to customers. Assists in the development and execution of regional hospital staff training courses.
  • Coach existing CorPath users to further increase their robotic-assisted PCI skills
  • Broaden user base at each site adding and training new physician and staff users of the CorPath system.

Director of Medical Education
Position Summary

As the Director of Medical Education, you will be responsible for creating, organizing and implementing vascular robotics education program offerings serving a variety of user segments including physicians, technologists and administrators.

You will be developing, implementing and managing a variety of robotics course offerings in a variety of settings and including multiple media platforms. Education offerings are both traditional and contemporary and occur both in advance of and following the sale of the vascular robotic equipment. You will work closely with physician course proctors and selected physician KOL's. You will also work closely and collaboratively with both the sales and marketing organizations and frequently interface with the clinical and research departments of the company. It is anticipated that the field of vascular robotics will be developing rapidly and iteratively, requiring a constant evaluation of education offerings and content. In addition, you will continually be monitoring the effectiveness of the offerings as impacting business goals and the satisfaction of participants in a metrics based methodology.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate all phases of external medical education, including pre and post sales offerings
  • In collaboration with SVP Clinical Regulatory and Medical Affairs, manage, educate and assist to educate identified physician KOL's.
  • Assist in the development and management of Corindus Training Sites and Centers of Excellence.

Position Summary

Lead design transfer out of R&D. Develop, implement and improve manufacturing capabilities. Contribute to product design improvements intended to achieve higher reliability, serviceability, and manufacturability. Train technicians and manufacturing personnel on manufacturing equipment operation, procedures and inspections.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work with product development staff to ensure that products under development are optimally manufacturable that may include but not be limited to mechanical assembly/dimensioning/tolerances, electrical wiring, materials selection and fabrication methods.
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for new products, product changes and enhancements, and related tooling and fixtures which are consistent with a zero defect level as well as low product cost.

Position Summary

Working under limited supervision this individual will provide an inventory control strategy, vision, and leadership for the all inventory control functions, which includes all material movements, inventory transactions, and associated staff including shipping and receiving. This person will provide metrics for on-time delivery, cycle count accuracy, and inventory levels. This person will maintain and communicate quality standards; write reports and ensures all documentation (DHRs) are accurately completed. In addition this individual will be responsible for level loading manufacturing production schedule via MRP, participate in the S&OP process, interface with supply chain, and customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Supervises a staff in the responsibilities of central stores, shipping and receiving on all daily operational functions. Demonstrates leadership through constant professional conduct and example.

Principal Advanced Development Robotics Engineer
Position Summary

The Principal Advance Development Robotics Engineer will be a key contributor to our research efforts within our advanced development team in support of new robotic systems and applications. The advanced development team is responsible for discovering, prototyping and developing new technologies which can be integrated into our next generation robotic PCI systems. This is a collaborative opportunity where the individual will work with other engineering disciplines, product management, and clinicians with focus on optimizing design and defining requirements. The successful candidate will be expected to: i) take a lead role development of new robotic applications and systems; ii) perform early stage work on enabling technologies; iii) contribute to systems and hardware design of robotic systems. The applicant must have a strong background with model based design, including system modeling, design, simulation and algorithm development, as well as experience in integration in electromechanical systems.

Principal Electrical Engineer
Position Summary

The Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for engineering analysis, reliability analysis, design analysis, and technical oversight of the development of electrical and electronic systems and subsystems for Corindus’ new and existing medical device products. The Principal Electrical Engineer must be a strong technical resource having a key role guiding the concept and development of electrical and electronic subsystems. This position requires a strong working knowledge of electrical engineering design principles in both analog and digital domains. The individual must be highly proficient with current EE analysis tools, practices and processes. This position also has some project management responsibilities for interfacing with external resources.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Technical lead and resource for EE activities in all phases of the product development lifecycle including specification, design, implementation, debug, verification, validation and manufacturing transfer
  • Highly skilled technical resource team contributor to the R&D Department
  • Ensures application of EE fundamentals. Applies strong analytical and problem solving methodologies including modeling and simulations
  • Implements best practices in design methodologies, development processes and tools
  • Creates design guidelines and specifications, defines testing protocols, monitors or executes testing, issues qualification test reports and complies with QSR requirements
  • Project Management responsibilities may include vendor and supplier management, directing design and test technician resources, developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets

Principal Software Engineer
Position Summary
  • Lead Software team to architect, design and implement platform software
  • Ensure that the software requirement and architecture are adequate for implementation.
  • Ensure that the design is robust, meets requirements and architecture and documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Ensure that the code is robust, complete, meets design, is properly unit tested and conforms to the coding standard.
  • Facilitate technical discussions amongst the software team(s) and ensure that decisions are made in a timely manner and documented.

This person will work as part of a team of software engineers to develop and integrate system software, such as:

  • Operating systems (QNX, Linux and Windows)
  • Embedded software and hardware-software interfaces
  • Development tool chains and environments (build, integration, test, etc)
  • Real-time frameworks

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 7 - 10 years of software development experience, from concept to production.

Product Manager
Position Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for the creation of and implementation of commercial marketing initiatives in support of the Corindus CorPath GRX Vascular Robotic system.  The Product Manager will also play a critical role in working collaboratively with R&D and technical teams to provide design input and voice of customer in the development of Corindus next generation products.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive awareness of CorPath product line by developing and implementing multi-phase marketing strategy.
  • Refine product messaging based on voice of customer and primary research with key customer stakeholders.
  • Build strategy and execution of marketing communications initiatives including web presence, tradeshow participation, advertising, public relations, and digital marketing tactics.
  • Support market development projects within targeted regions to promote adoption of robotics and grow market share for customers.

  • Support the field sales team as a primary customer, identifying unmet needs and supporting their development through training and onsite support.
